When I said I wanted snow…

I love snow. A lot. I may be the only one out there but I don’t care. I do, however, have my limits and those limits are reached when wind is added to it. Drifts are not fun, especially when I only own short boots. I also don’t like when it cuts into my plans. I missed a birthday dinner with family and a delivery pizza (I tried to order it when I was unable to make my dinner plans and realized I had no food.) According to one website “Missoula is closed due to weather.” Really? The whole town? Ugh. It was cheese, crackers, and mini bottles of wine for me. That’s right. I said bottles.

I took these pictures on my cell phone and they really don’t do this weather justice. I wasn’t quite able to capture the swirling cyclones of snow.

Well I guess I’ll take the time to get some writing done while the town is on lockdown. From what I understand the snow will be picking up again tomorrow night. I’m hoping the snowmageddon slows down long enough for me to pick up some groceries and beer. You know, in case I get snowed in again and have to fend for myself.

Stay warm, my friends!
